TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a situation where the conflict between the Zionist regime and Lebanon's Hezbollah is approaching its second month, many and extensive efforts are underway to establish a ceasefire and end this unequal and destructive war to see the end of this massacre and organized crimes against the Lebanese people.

The prospect of a ceasefire in Lebanon

But the issue that is noteworthy in this regard is the bleak history of the Zionist regime during the negotiations and disruptions of the United States as the main ally of this occupying and illegitimate regime on the way to the realization of a ceasefire and the end of almost 2 months of bloody and destructive conflict. This has caused the people and countries of the region and the world to be pessimistic about the future and the end of the Lebanese ceasefire negotiations.

Another point is the conditions that the Zionist regime and the United States put forward for the ceasefire of the Lebanese war. If we carefully look at the conditions put forth by Tel Aviv and Washington, we find out that they put forth demands that not only the nation but also the Lebanese government, especially Lebanon's Hezbollah, will not accept.

On the other hand, based on past experiences as well as the performance record of the Zionist regime and the United States during the past ceasefire negotiations until today, it is understood that Tel Aviv and Washington are very seriously seeking to introduce Lebanon and Hezbollah as responsible for the failure of the Lebanese cease-fire negotiations, also, they intend to show that the Zionist regime is the party that is looking for a real ceasefire.

Of course, according to the current situation and conditions in the course of diplomatic movements to realize a ceasefire between the Zionist regime and Lebanon, reports indicate the existence of an atmosphere of mistrust and pessimism toward the future of the ceasefire negotiations in Lebanon. The French side is also heard as one of the most important parties to the ceasefire negotiations, expressing their disappointment in establishing a ceasefire for the next two to three months.

On the other hand, we see that "Nabih Berri", the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, has announced that he has a firm position on adhering to the full implementation of Resolution 1701 and will not accept proposals outside of what he agreed with the American special envoy, "Amos Hochstein". An issue that has increased the existing gap between the two sides.

Another issue that makes it very difficult to reach a ceasefire agreement is that the Lebanese authorities believe that any proposal that is presented to resolve the Lebanese war and establish a ceasefire must respect the complete and comprehensive sovereignty of Lebanon and its international borders based on Resolution 1701.

Considering all the mentioned cases and issues and the disruption and disruption of the Zionist regime and the United States on the way to a ceasefire, it must be said that reaching an agreement and ending the war, at least soon, is very difficult and far from expectation the negotiating parties should talk and negotiate with each other much more so that their views become closer.

Of course, in the meantime, the subtle and important point is that it is the Zionist regime and the United States that must accept Lebanon's opinions and conditions to reach a ceasefire agreement, otherwise, Lebanon's current position is completely correct and in line with the country's national interests.

In the end, it should be said that Lebanon's conditions and requests for a ceasefire agreement and the end of the conflict with the Zionist regime are clear considering that it is the occupying and illegal Zionist army that has invaded Lebanon and naturally, the leaders and officials of the Zionist regime, along with their permanent ally, the United States, must accept Lebanon's conditions for a ceasefire agreement to see the end of this two-month war.
