TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, this morning (Monday) at the ceremony commemorating Research and Technology Week at Imam Hussein (AS) University, emphasized that the enemy has launched a media and cognitive war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which it uses to express things in recent developments, and stated: Today, the enemies of the Iranian nation, led by the Zionist regime and the United States, both inside and outside the region, are making statements against us and in some cases are also seeking power.
The Speaker of the Assembly continued by referring to the claims of some who say that the danger is narrow to you and you have lost Syria, surrender and adapt to the world order! He said: These words are not new words and they were saying these words on June 5, 1963.
Ghalibaf added: "Didn't we have ups and downs during the period of sacred defense? Didn't the enemy attack us twice after accepting the resolution? Didn't they say what was your achievement in the war with the Baath Party? Did you reach Karbala? But in the end, we saw that divine traditions are stable and cannot be destroyed, and the world saw that the Islamic Revolution was victorious with faith in the school of the Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
He emphasized that we should not hesitate and should move forward with faith and said: "Ups and downs are constant, but in these ups and downs, our faith and adherence to divine traditions are determined. This is where those who talk and those who act are determined."
Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said: We are not mere idealists, while we are taking steps with a plan, we also calculate the enemy's power, and the discourse of the Islamic Revolution is that we are realistic idealists.
In another part of his speech, the Speaker of the Parliament clarified: It is difficult to find a replacement for the martyr "Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah"; just as it is difficult to find a replacement for the martyrs "Beheshti", "Soleimani" and "Mousavi", but we take God as a witness. The day I went to Beirut, I saw Hezbollah alive. They were in difficult conditions and had lost their commander, but the Zionist enemy could not take a single step forward.
He said: We have the ability to defend and fight, and we know without a doubt that we will be victorious in the struggle and that we are determined on this path and will move forward, and victory is a divine promise.
Qalibaf stated: Along with faith, we must be aware of the enemy's change, then step on the path with the power of calculation, and stand firm with rationality, wisdom, and courage. We must act in a way that upsets the enemy's calculations. On the battlefield, we must first calculate and then carry out operations.
Emphasizing that we know the enemy's weaknesses well, the Speaker of the Parliament said: If the enemy thinks and claims that we have cut off the arms of the Islamic Revolution, we must say that he has never understood our military power; our power is the hearts and faith of the people.
He added: We must avoid any polarization which is the enemy's plan in cognitive warfare, and expand the scope of the Islamic Revolution.
