Funeral of Hezbollah Secretary General after 60-day Ceasefire

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Manar, Wafiq Safa, head of the Lebanese Hezbollah Communications and Coordination Unit, stated: The party will hold the funeral of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah, in the southern area of ​​Beirut after the end of the 60-day ceasefire.

Wafiq Safa, who visited the site of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s martyrdom, stated in a statement: Sayyed’s presence continues in the resistance and among the elements of the Mujahideen and the resistant nation.

He noted that Lebanese Hezbollah is stronger and harder than iron and stronger than ever before, and this was something that the enemy also observed.

Hajj Safa continued: Hezbollah is ready for all responsibilities and will be present whenever the nation’s morale is damaged.

He stated that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri would talk to Amos Hochstein, the US envoy to Lebanon, regarding the Zionist regime’s aggressions.

Wafiq Safa added: Hezbollah welcomes the presidency of Joseph Aoun, the commander of the army, and will not veto anyone else in this position except Samir Geagea, the head of the Lebanese Forces party because Geagea's plan is destructive for Lebanon.

This Hezbollah official continued: This party is ready for the reconstruction of Lebanon and the removal of debris and is at the service of the Lebanese people.
