TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, the President of Panama, in response to the claim made tonight by US President Donald Trump regarding the Panama Canal and his government's attempt to dominate the canal, emphasized that the Panama Canal belongs to this country and will remain so. 

The Presidents of Panama and Mexico Respond to Trump's Threat

Trump said during his inauguration ceremony: "We will take the Panama Canal back from Panama. We built this canal, but today China is using it. The US armed forces will focus on one mission, and that is to defeat our enemies. We are building the strongest army in the world."

On the other hand, the President of Mexico also responded to Trump's threats to deport immigrants from the United States, saying: "We support Mexican citizens in the United States and Americans need us to strengthen their economy."

Trump said during his inauguration ceremony: "I am declaring a state of emergency on the southern border. All illegal entry into the United States border will be immediately prohibited. All illegal immigration will be stopped and millions of illegal immigrants will be deported with the policy of "Remain in Mexico."
