IRGC Unveils New Missile City in South of Iran

The IRGC Navy unveiled an anti-destroyer cruise missile city in an underground base in the south of the country and one of its latest achievements, the “Qadr-380 naval cruise missile.”

TEHRAN (Defapress) - On the sidelines of a visit to the readiness of the IRGC Navy missile units, IRGC Commander-in-Chief Hossein Salami unveiled this strategic missile with a range of more than 1000 kilometers and said: “The Iranians should know that the armed forces, including the IRGC, are working day and night to defend this country and strengthen it.”

The IRGC Commander-in-Chief said: “These missile cities are part of our power. The unveiling of missile cities is to make the enemies’ calculations more accurate so that the enemies do not make mistakes that will cause trouble for themselves and others because of their mistakes.”

On the sidelines of this unveiling, Brigadier General Alireza Tangsiri, Commander of the IRGC Navy, said about these cruise missiles: "These missiles are manufactured by the IRGC Navy and have a range of over a thousand kilometers.

One of the characteristics of the Qadr-380 cruise missile is that it is anti-jamming, which means it cannot be diverted and can guide itself until it hits the target. The ability to perform operations with one person in less than 5 minutes is one of the main features of this missile."
