TEHRAN (Defapress) - Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, during the funeral procession of the bodies of the martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din, held in Beirut, emphasized that the martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah represented the free men of the world, stating: O steadfast nation, I address you. The whole world has heard that you remain true to your covenant. Today, we bid farewell to a historical, exceptional, national, Arab, and Islamic leader.

The Martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah Represented the Free Men of the World

Sheikh Naim said that the martyr Nasrallah was the leader of the Resistance and called the nation to Resistance. This great man was born in Islam and dissolved in the Muhammadan Islam and Wilayah. He was kind, generous, humble, and brave. He was the beloved of the Resistance, believed in God, loved the people, and the people loved him.

He clarified: Our dear Seyyed was present in the operations room of the Resistance to follow up on the work of the Mujahideen, and there he was martyred. Our dear Seyyed, we have lost you, but you are alive within us. Do not say that they are dead; rather, they are alive. We have preserved the trust and are moving on this path.

Naim Qassem added: Even if all of us are killed and our homes are destroyed, we will not turn our backs on the option of Resistance. Imam Khamenei tells us that Hezbollah in Lebanon has lost a rare leadership. But his leadership and wisdom over the decades will never end. In this ceremony, I and the people of Lebanon pledge allegiance to this path and this line.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon continued: If we declare the covenant and continue on this path, we will surely succeed. Today, we are bidding farewell to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddin. He was our companion, supporter, and backbone. Seyyed, you were the flag of our path, but you are still with us through your way and method.

He noted that Seyyed Hashem Safieddin became the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon six days after the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah. He accompanied the people and paid attention to their demands. He also supported and accompanied Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah during his lifetime.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added: We congratulate and offer condolences to the families of the martyrs and congratulate the martyrs of Quds and the Resistance.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon stated: We salute the wounded, the living martyrs, and the prisoners, and we tell them that we will never abandon you and will do everything to free you.

He said: O people, I know that Seyyed Hussein Nasrallah is in your minds and hearts. We also know that millions of others wished to be present at this ceremony. You are a loyal and generous nation.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added: I will speak about four points. First, you fought well in the battle to support Gaza. The Israelis entered a war against Lebanon after four days. The scale of the crime was unprecedented, and their goal was to end the Resistance in Gaza and Lebanon. In contrast, the scale of steadfastness and activity was also unprecedented, and this is a great achievement.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon continued: We rebuilt ourselves, and the Mujahideen were stationed at the borders, and 75,000 Israeli soldiers could do nothing. The people, youth, and our nation stood firm and steadfast. You, O people of this steadfast land, are here to keep this flag raised.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added: The people of Lebanon are united and exemplary. Thank God, this nation demonstrates national and Islamic unity. Where have we reached? We accepted the ceasefire because the war could have continued for two or three months, and it was not in the interest of the Resistance and Lebanon.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon continued: The most prominent step we took was that the government accepted its responsibility. After the Resistance prevented the enemy from advancing and achieving its goals, we achieved the first part, which was prevention, the second part was the government's duty.

He noted: We committed, but Israel did not and will not commit. We were patient and gave them time to withdraw according to the agreement, and we did not violate the agreement. Today, we are facing numerous violations by the Israelis. When they say they will remain in five points, this is called aggression. Attacks on various points under any pretext are nothing but hostile aggression.

Sheikh Naim Qassem added: Know that the Resistance is present and strong, both in numbers and equipment, and we believe that absolute and final victory is ours, even if it is delayed. Certainly, if everyone helps, the equation will change quickly. Wake up, those who have fallen asleep; the Resistance has taught you a good lesson, and we have been able to set a great example of standing against the Zionists.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon stated: The readiness and presence of the Resistance are not over. Because Resistance is a belief and conviction, no one can destroy this belief. No one can take it from us, and we believe in it. Resistance is written with blood and requires sacrifice.

He added: The future of the world is designed by Resistance; Resistance is a firm and established faith and love flowing among the people, invincible and continuous. We will continue our work with our methods, solidarity, and the wisdom of the leadership. It is not that we shoot every day, but we determine when to be patient and when to shoot. Do not interpret our patience as weakness; we will never surrender, and we will not be spectators. We have demonstrated our strength; we are the children of "Hayhat Minna Al-Dhilla" (Death over humiliation).

Sheikh Naim Qassem continued: O claimants of sovereignty, where are you? Why do we see no action against "Israel" from you? By God, if the whole world gathers against us, we will confront them. We forced "Israel" to a ceasefire. Were you not surprised that people returned to southern Lebanon empty-handed and unarmed? And they challenged their tanks and liberated the occupied areas with their own hands. Were you not surprised?

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon noted: O nation, we are the children of Imam Khamenei and Imam Khomeini (RA), we are the children of Imam Musa Sadr, we are the children of Seyyed Abbas Musawi, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Seyyed Safieddin, Haj Qassem, and Imad Mughniyeh. All this chain I mentioned returns you to your origin, to Muhammad, Ali, Hussein, and Hassan (AS), and leads you towards Imam Mahdi (AJ) to hand over the flag to him. These are our fixed principles.

He concluded: We are committed to the covenant, meaning O Seyyed, be assured, the leaders and the Resistance exist. Resistance is the principle and foundation and our political options as long as there is occupation. We pursue our rights through Resistance, and we pursue the expulsion of the occupiers, and Palestine is right and our compass. We support its freedom and confront the plan to forcibly displace the people of Gaza.
