Sufyan Al-Quddat, spokesman for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, emphasized in a statement: The decision of the Israeli cabinet to cut off electricity to Gaza is a continuation of the policy of starvation and siege of the Palestinians, especially since it is being carried out at the same time as preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip, which is a violation of the ceasefire agreement and a threat to further escalate tensions in the region.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesman called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibility and oblige Israel to agree to a ceasefire and ensure the implementation of all stages of this agreement, and to connect electricity to Gaza and open border crossings to send aid to various areas of the Strip, as Gaza is grappling with an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.

Last night, Israeli Energy Minister, Eli Cohen, announced the regime's decision to cut off electricity to the Gaza Strip to intensify the siege of the Gaza Strip and put pressure on the resistance.

Israel's Channel 12 also reported, citing informed sources, that the next step after cutting off electricity to the Gaza Strip is to cut off water from the north of the Strip.
