TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Shahab, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported that the plane of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was forced to take a longer route from Budapest to Washington to avoid countries that may execute his international arrest warrant.
Haaretz added: Tel Aviv expects Ireland, Iceland, and the Netherlands to execute Netanyahu's international arrest warrant in the event of an emergency landing of his plane in these countries.
Earlier, Reuters reported, citing a White House official, that Netanyahu will travel to Washington on Monday.
The informed source added that following Netanyahu's phone call with Donald Trump regarding Washington's new tariffs on Tel Aviv, the US president invited Netanyahu to this meeting.
