TEHRAN (Defapress) - An Israeli drone struck the southern Lebanese town of Taybeh on Thursday, critically injuring one person, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
The attack targeted a bicycle repair shop, escalating tensions despite a four-month-old ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
Al Jazeera Arabic correspondents confirmed the strike, while Palestinian media reported a separate drone hit on a vehicle, releasing images of smoke rising from the town.
The assault follows recent Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and repeated violations of the November 27 ceasefire agreement, which has failed to halt attacks in southern Lebanon.
