We Will Not Give in to Pressure

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, the Zionist regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked Qatar in a statement, saying: It is time for Qatar to end its double discourse and decide whether to stand with civilization or with the barbarity of Hamas.

Following these delusional statements by Netanyahu's office, the Qatari Foreign Ministry issued a statement strongly condemning these provocative statements, calling them devoid of the minimum of political and moral responsibility.

The statement emphasized that portraying the continued attacks on the Gaza Strip as defending “civilization” evokes the discourse of regimes that used deceptive slogans to justify their crimes against innocent civilians.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry also emphasized that the country, in coordination with its international allies, has actively supported mediation efforts to stop the war, protect civilians, and ensure the release of Israeli prisoners.

In another part of its statement, Qatar, mocking Israel, said that its military attacks on Gaza have so far failed to free Israeli prisoners: Were at least 138 Israeli prisoners released through military operations that are presented as justice [by Tel Aviv], or were these prisoners released through mediations that are being attacked and unfairly treated today?

Referring to the critical situation of the people of Gaza, the Qatari Foreign Ministry noted: The residents of this region are experiencing one of the worst human tragedies, including siege, hunger, deprivation, and the use of humanitarian aid as a weapon. Is this the civilization they claim?

In conclusion, Doha emphasized that despite the pressures and propaganda against this country, Doha will not back down from its position in supporting oppressed nations and will continue to play its role as an impartial and trusted mediator.
