Increasing Disagreements Among Netanyahu's Coalition Ministers

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Zionist newspaper, Israel Hayom quoted private conversations with the Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, as saying: The Americans have not changed their position and US President Donald Trump still wants to implement the plan to relocate Gaza residents and supports us in Gaza.

He emphasized that so far, there has been no change regarding the release of Israeli prisoners.

Smotrich stated that Hamas wants an end to the war and claimed: If we occupy 75 percent of the Gaza Strip and apply continuous and intense pressure, Hamas will collapse.

He added: We will raze the area between the Morag and Philadelphia axes to the ground, and American companies will come in to distribute food.

In these private conversations, which Israel Hayom quoted, Smotrich said: "Itamar Ben-Governor, the Minister of Internal Security, is pursuing populist politics and is attacking the cabinet from the right-wing front to win votes at the ballot box."

He added: "Ben Gvir is a criminal and information from the cabinet should not be leaked."

Ben Gvir had previously said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was making a big mistake by sending aid to the Gaza Strip.
