America and the Zionist Regime Will Pay a Heavy Price

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the senior spokesman for the armed forces, said in an interview, referring to the Zionist regime’s airstrike on parts of Iran: “The Zionist enemy targeted residential areas with the help of America and will pay a heavy price for this action.”

Stating that the honorable people of Iran should not feel worried at all, General Shekarchi added: “The armed forces are 100 percent ready and will give a tough response to the enemy’s aggression.”

Regarding the news of the martyrdom of some military officials, he said: “We cannot say for sure how many commanders have been martyred, but some have been martyred.”

The senior spokesman for the armed forces emphasized: “We are ready and working. There will definitely be a countermeasure and America and the Zionist regime will receive a tough slap.”
