Colombian President Warns Against Any Military Invasion of Venezuela

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, Colombian President Gustavo Petro warned in a speech about the consequences of any invasion of Venezuela, stating: If an attack is carried out on Venezuela, what happened in Syria and Iraq will become a reality in the greater Colombian region.

He added: In the event of an attack, mass murderers will dominate the territories and governments will become instruments for social peace.

Petro emphasized: In the great homeland of Bolívar, only national sovereignty can be established, and there should be no obedience to foreigners in Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela.

The comments come after Nicolas Maduro said in a press conference on Monday night that Venezuela was surrounded by 8 warships with 1,200 missiles and a submarine.

He said the country was facing the greatest threat it had seen in a century.
