Maduro Accuses US of Attempting to Change Government in Venezuela
The Venezuelan President has revealed the main goal of Washington's recent pressure on his country, calling the US plan to change the government in Caracas.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that there is no tension between his country and the United States and that what is happening is a clear US aggression against his country.
He added: "They [the Americans] are trying to change the Venezuelan political system and impose a model of a subordinate government in favor of the interests of the American oligarchy."
Maduro emphasized: "No one will be able to humiliate Venezuela, and we will never allow the US empire to humiliate our nation."
