TEHRAN (Defapress) - Following the withdrawal of the occupying forces from parts of the Gaza Strip and the start of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, Hamas has launched a massive operation to restore order and confront destabilizing factors by calling on 7,000 security forces.

According to the BBC, Hamas has appointed five new governors with military backgrounds, some of whom previously commanded units in the military branch of the Resistance. These governors are tasked with establishing security in the areas from which the Israeli army has withdrawn.

The order to mobilize forces was issued through phone calls and text messages, which read: “We are announcing a general mobilization in response to the call of national and religious duty; to cleanse Gaza of lawbreakers and collaborators with Israel. You must report to the designated locations within 24 hours and use the official codes.”

According to field reports, Hamas security forces have been deployed in several neighborhoods, some in civilian clothes and some in official Gaza police uniforms. These forces are tasked with dealing with infiltrators, rioters, and those who collaborated with the enemy during the war.

“We will not leave Gaza to fall prey to the occupation’s militias or mercenaries. The weapon of resistance is legitimate and will remain until the end of the occupation,” the BBC reported, citing a Hamas official.

According to the Arab 21 website, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior has also announced that its security forces will be deployed in all areas of the Gaza Strip from which the occupying army has withdrawn. This measure aims to restore order, confront chaos, and protect the rights of citizens.

In this regard, the security services in Gaza have launched a wide-ranging operation to arrest violators, enemy collaborators, and those who looted people's property or caused chaos during the war. The wanted individuals have been told that they must present themselves to security centers within 48 hours; otherwise, they will face severe legal action.

The security services have emphasized that this operation is carried out within the framework of maintaining public security, the rule of law, and confronting enemy influence, and that any person who plays a role in harming social security or national interests will be dealt with decisively.
