TEHRAN (Defapress) - The 12-Day Imposed War is one of the most important events of the last decade in the West Asian region, during which the Zionist regime, by sending dozens of fighter jets and military support from the United States, tried to destroy Iran's military and nuclear capabilities.

This war, which began on June 23, was based on multi-year and multi-stage planning and began with the assassination of nuclear commanders and figures, and ultimately ended after 12 days with the defeat of the Zionist regime; A defeat that indicated their complete failure to achieve their predetermined goals, including the widespread assassination of Iranian officials, creating chaos, overthrowing the Islamic Republic, and dismembering Iran.

However, the Zionist regime, which has been forced to seek help from the United States and request a ceasefire under the heavy Iranian missile strikes, claims success in this war and claims to have completely destroyed Iran's military and nuclear capabilities.

One of the claims made by the Zionists, especially "Benjamin Netanyahu," the Prime Minister of the infamous Zionist regime, is that Iran's missile cities have been completely destroyed or seriously damaged, and Iran can no longer launch ballistic missiles.

Netanyahu has repeatedly claimed in various speeches that he has significantly reduced Iran's military capabilities; But the targeted and effective firing of Iranian missiles, especially in the final days of the imposed 12-day war and the very heavy damage inflicted on military and civilian sites in the occupied territories, completely question the claims of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime and prove the opposite.

Especially since US President Donald Trump, in a conversation with the media, also openly acknowledged Iran's high missile capabilities in this war and the inability of the defense of the Zionist regime and its allies to counter Iranian missile attacks. Trump has said in this regard: "Israel got hit very hard. Especially the last couple of days, Israel got hit really hard. Those ballistic missiles, boy, they took out a lot of buildings."

In the 12-day war, the Zionists only targeted the entrances and exits of several missile cities, but the "destruction of missile cities" is more like a joke than a reality; Because if we look at the 12-day war, we see that exactly on the last day of the war that resulted in a ceasefire, Iranian ballistic missiles were able to cause widespread destruction in various parts of the occupied territories, especially the city of Beersheba, and this is also a refutation of the claims of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime; during this war, numerous cities and regions of the occupied territories were subjected to incessant missile attacks by the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, an example of which can be clearly seen in the extensive destruction of Haifa and Tel Aviv, despite severe censorship by the Zionists.

Also, when about 40,000 insurance claims have been registered by the Zionists in military settlements, how can we believe that Iran's missile capabilities have been weakened? Therefore, it seems that the claims of the Zionist authorities were mostly for Zionist settlers.

Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, former deputy coordinator of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, also says in this regard: Let me tell you a fact that happened and should be recorded in history; not even a scratch, a thin line the size of a fly's feather, has fallen on the body of our missiles (missiles in missile cities); write this down and keep it.

He adds: None of our missile cities have been damaged; if a door is closed, the path is opened with a loader, and the firing begins again, it is not a problem; this complex is alive and dynamic and is changing and progressing. Nothing stays the same as it was on the first day; everything is moving forward.

In the defense doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran, active deterrence has a special place, and Iran, considering arms restrictions and international sanctions, has focused on developing its missile and defense capabilities instead of relying on expensive conventional weapons. It can be said that missile cities play the role of the backbone of this strategy; cities that have been built and prepared according to the principles of passive defense so that no enemy can cause the slightest damage to them.

In recent years, especially in 2024 and 2025, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has unveiled several new missile cities. These unveilings, which were held in the presence of senior military commanders and Iranian and foreign media, have a clear message to the enemies, which is that "Iran is ready to severely punish any adversary."

Considering the above-mentioned cases, the underground missile bases that have become one of the main pillars of the Islamic Republic of Iran's military deterrence in recent years, contrary to some rumors and speculations, these cities have not only not been destroyed, but are more active and ready than ever with new unveilings and technological developments, an issue that we witnessed clearly in the 12-day war, and this technology will be developed vigorously.
