No Empire Will Silence Venezuela's Voice

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said in a speech: "Venezuela is not alone, and no imperial power will be able to silence our voice."

Maduro also said: "It is a great thing to see the unity of the nations of the world in support of the people of Venezuela during the International Day of Solidarity with Us Against US Aggression."

These words were said hours after dozens of Americans protested in front of the White House on Saturday night to condemn the possibility of US military intervention in Venezuela.

In his latest comments on the alleged attack on drug cartels in Venezuela, US President Donald Trump said: "We will soon launch a ground attack on drug trafficking."

The US President added: "Working with Venezuela has gone beyond applying pressure, and during my brief call with Maduro, I informed him of some of the work."
