TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to the newsletter, Israeli radio and television reported that dozens of militants affiliated with tribal groups opposed to the Islamic Resistance movement Hamas have voluntarily surrendered to Hamas security forces in the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours.

The sources added that the surrender of these forces has accelerated significantly since Friday and has been concentrated in the Rafah and Khan Yunis areas, where the most prominent armed militants supported by Tel Aviv were active.

This action came after Hamas announced that the militants have a final 10-day deadline to surrender themselves and their weapons. The Interior Ministry in the Gaza Strip told Al Jazeera in a statement last Friday that it would review the cases of those who surrender and facilitate their trial.

The ministry stressed that the Israeli occupation had not succeeded in damaging the unity of the Palestinian people and its national cohesion, and that the terrorist gangs formed by the occupation to create chaos in the internal arena remained isolated without popular or social support until their fate was destroyed.

A leader of the Union of Tribes in Gaza said in a statement that the tribes were very worried about the militias financed by Tel Aviv, and that these militias would be destroyed despite Israel's efforts to support them. He added that these groups aimed to discover tunnels and pursue Resistance fighters, which is to do what the occupation had been unable to do for two whole years.

The Israeli occupation army radio announced last Wednesday that Yasser Abu Shabab, a commander of armed militias, was killed by unknown assailants east of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
