Reuters Reveals EU Interference in Lebanon's Internal Affairs

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to a document published by Reuters, the EU is seeking to intervene in Lebanon's internal affairs and try to disarm Hezbollah. This EU action comes as the Zionist regime continues its brutal attacks on various regions of Lebanon, disregarding the ceasefire signed with Beirut in 2024.

According to the document, which was prepared by the EU's political department and distributed among its 27 member states, the EU is preparing to consult with Lebanese officials to move towards disarming Hezbollah.

A delegation is also scheduled to travel to Lebanon in early 2026 and take steps to strengthen the country's army to disarm Hezbollah.

In this regard, a meeting between EU and Lebanese officials is scheduled to be held in Brussels on December 15.
