Tel Aviv Warns CENTCOM about Iran’s Missile Movements

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Axios, the Israeli army chief of staff has warned the US Central Command that Iran’s recent missile maneuvers could be a cover for a surprise attack.

In this conversation, he emphasized the need for close coordination with the US military to deal with possible scenarios.

The CENTCOM commander met with the army chief of staff and a number of senior Israeli military officials in Tel Aviv on Sunday and discussed the latest security developments and the situation in the region.

At the same time, American sources have announced that the country’s intelligence services currently have no signs of an imminent Iranian attack and have claimed that they are closely monitoring the recent movements.

The report also adds that Benjamin Netanyahu intends to raise the issue of rebuilding Iran's missile capabilities and the possibility of resorting to a military option against Tehran in his upcoming meeting with Donald Trump.

After the recent direct and unprecedented confrontation between Iran and the Zionist regime, the security alert level in Tel Aviv and Washington has increased, and intensive military consultations are underway between the two sides.

While Zionist officials are trying to attract US support for intensifying pressure by highlighting Iran's defensive and deterrent movements, Washington has so far adopted a cautious approach towards entering into a direct and widespread conflict with Iran.
