I Travel to America to Prevent a World War

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, today Saturday in a message on his X account, described the threat from Washington against his country as serious.

The President of Colombia wrote: "The United States considers other countries part of its empire, and the military threat from the United States is real."

Gustavo Petro added: "I am traveling to the United States to prevent a world war."

This comes as Colombian media earlier reported that Gustavo Petro, the President of Colombia, had a phone call with Donald Trump, the President of the United States, for more than 20 minutes.

Donald Trump had stated in this regard that the President of Colombia had contacted him to explain the situation regarding drugs and other existing disputes between the two sides.
