UK Has Allocated Funds for Deployment of Troops to Ukraine

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The UK government has allocated funds to deploy troops to Ukraine to protect a potential ceasefire, according to Al Jazeera.

London's move could trigger a strong reaction from Moscow, as Russia opposes any troop deployment by NATO members in Ukraine.

Despite the US withdrawing from its anti-Russian stance, other NATO members' positions remain focused on Russophobia, and these countries are preparing for a military confrontation with Moscow.

NATO Secretary-General, Mark Rutte, in his latest statement on Ukraine's developments, emphasized the need for continued support from NATO members to Kyiv.

The NATO Secretary-General stated: "Ukraine still faces significant needs to defend itself against Russian attacks."

At a meeting last week in Paris, supporters of Kyiv agreed to deploy French and UK military forces in Ukraine to protect a potential ceasefire with Russia.
