Power of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces in Combating Terrorists

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Recent events in the country demonstrate that enemies of Iran have a special plan to strike at the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian people, as well as a step-by-step disintegration of Iran.

In recent days, the sworn enemies of Islamic Republic of Iran have tried to ride the wave of legitimate protests over living and professional conditions to place the people against the system, and with tactical chaos, they seek to avenge their defeat in the 12-day war against Iran.

On January 8 and 9, enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a new plot, sought to disrupt the country's calm by setting up a new sedition, aiming to implement their intended actions in border provinces from behind the scenes.

In the western region of the country, separatist terrorists, according to previous plans and with the management of intelligence services of the Zionist regime and some Western countries, by taking advantage of the situation, engaged in armed confrontation with security forces in border cities, while trained elements of other terrorist groups like the MEK, in other cities including the capital, confronted arm-fully with security defenders, and in line with the killing innocent people, targeted protesters and passersby with their precise shots.

On the other hand, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and security defenders have shown over the past four decades that they stand firmly against factors of insecurity and separatism, and in the protection of people's security, national interests, and the country's stability, they sacrifice their lives; for example, in the western and northwest regions of the country, the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) have been seriously engaged with terrorists since 2009 and dealt heavy blows to them the extent that military commanders say that in these areas, the Ground Forces of the IRGC have the upper hand.

The “Hamzeh Sayyed al-Shuhada” Headquarter and the "Saberin" Special Forces of the IRGC Ground Forces demonstrated their ability to counter terrorists under any circumstances.

In the western of the country and on the border with the Iraqi province of Diyala, the IRGC Ground Forces also have a good position, and units of this force, with specific distribution in the region, are carrying out defense of the borders with strength. Even one of the top diplomatic officials of Turkey, whose remarks were reflected on the Instagram page of Anadolu, referred to the power of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and said: "During the 12-day war, we warned Iranian officials about the possible attack (by PJAK during the war) and they took action, and inflicted heavy casualties on this group."

In addition, the IRGC Ground Forces last year, with the holding of the " The Great Prophet (PBUH) 19" exercise in two defensive and security sections and effective counter-terrorism against terrorists on the battlefield, demonstrated that they are very serious about defending the country's territorial integrity, and they do not compromise with anyone in this regard.

Furthermore, the IRGC Ground Forces this year also held the "Sahand 2025" counter-terrorism exercise, in which countries under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, under the joint command of the deputy operations of the IRGC Ground Forces, implemented counter-terrorism plans, and these plans were carried out in a completely real environment.

However, in the southeast region of the country and the province of Sistan and Baluchistan, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the focus on the IRGC Ground Forces, stood firmly against Jaish al-Zulm terrorists and dealt heavy blows to them. If we just look at the operations of the IRGC Ground Forces in the southeast region of the country over the past three years, we see that terrorists have been caught in custody of the armed forces in "Zahedan," "Zabol," "Qasr-e Qand," "Mahestan," "Sarbaz," "Iranshahr," "Saravan,"and etc.. According to field commanders of the armed forces, this process will continue until the complete eradication of terrorists.

The authority of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, alongside the public support (as we witnessed during the 12-day imkposed war), shows that the conditions in Iran are completely different from countries like Sudan, Syria, and Libya, and the evil plots of Iran's enemies will never succeed in this country. Of course, we should also take into account the fact that the awareness of the people and their opposition to seditions will play a very important role in this regard.
