TEHRAN (Defapress) – The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, emphasized to his American counterpart: No one can tell us what to do.

Earlier, Trump stated that Cuba should agree with the US and threatened that otherwise, no more oil or money would be sent to the country.
The Cuban President had also previously stated in reference to the US military invasion of Venezuela that American terrorism is unacceptable and that this action by Washington can only be compared to the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
Following the US attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of Nicolas Maduro, Trump claimed that Cuba has lost its main economic support with the disruption of oil flow from Venezuela, and the fall of the government on the island "seems inevitable."
In response to these statements, the Cuban Foreign Minister described Trump as lacking a full understanding of Cuba and declared that the people of the country are ready to give their lives to defend their national sovereignty.
