Syrian Army Is Considering Options to Move Against SDF

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, the Operations Department of the Syrian Army affiliated with the Jolani regime stated on Sunday, claiming that the Syrian Democratic Forces, known as the SDF, violated the ceasefire declared between the two sides and targeted army positions around the Ain al-Arab area located in the northern suburbs of Aleppo with 25 suicide drones.

The statement said that the SDF's actions resulted in the targeting of Syrian army equipment, the M-4 route, and surrounding villages.

According to the statement, the SDF surrounded some families in the village of Al-Shuyukh, which eventually led to clashes in the area. The Syrian army is considering its field options against the SDF.

It should be noted that on Tuesday evening, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced a four-day ceasefire agreement with the SDF. After that, the ceasefire was extended for 15 days.
