According to the Law, the Armies of European Countries Are Considered a Terrorist Group

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly condemned the recent action of the European Union in labeling the IRGC, calling it irresponsible and in compliance with the orders of the United States and the Zionist regime. Referring to the law of retaliatory measures, Ghalibaf warned that according to this law, the armies of European countries are considered a terrorist group, and the consequences of this labeling will be borne by the European Union.

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a speech before the order today (Sunday) in the open session of the parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, while congratulating the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's (RA) return to Iran and the beginning of the Fajr decade, condemned the recent action of the European Union in labeling the IRGC, calling it an irresponsible, baseless and in compliance with the orders of the United States and the Zionist regime.

He said that this action will accelerate the path of Europe becoming insignificant in the future world order. Ghalibaf added that with this decision, the Europeans acted against their own interests and, to please the American master, struck the biggest obstacle to the spread of terrorism to their continent. He considered the Revolutionary Guard Corps a unique institution in the fight against terrorism that overthrew the ISIS regime with the sacrifice of commanders such as Martyr Lieutenant General Soleimani and the support of the people of the region.

Ghalibaf emphasized that the Iranian people consider the IRGC a part of themselves that has been by their side at all stages, from confronting natural disasters to maintaining national security. Referring to the Retaliatory Action Law, he warned that according to this law, the armies of European countries are considered a terrorist group, and the consequences of this labeling will be borne by the European Union.
