Iran's Armed Forces Prepare for Regional War

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In the past month, the military threats of the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran have reached their peak, and these threats, along with economic sanctions, have marked a new chapter in the West's hybrid war against Iran.

In the hybrid war, the enemy's new strategy is to first prepare minds for a military conflict through media warfare, then promote despair within the country through economic sanctions, and finally deal the final blow to the country's structure.

In fact, with this strategy and the title of "maximum pressure," which President Donald Trump of the US is seeking to politically and economically paralyze Iran, and then launch a military attack. This has caused the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran to change their strategies against the enemies.

The points that military commanders have raised in recent months show that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have reached a consensus to achieve an offensive strategy against Iran's well-equipped enemies.

Changing the military doctrine from defensive to offensive

Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, says in this regard: After the 12-day war and the continuation of the insidious American-Zionist actions, we revised the country's defensive doctrine and changed it to the offensive doctrine of the armed forces, based on the approach of lightning-fast and wide-ranging operations, by adopting disjointed and crushing military strategies; Accordingly, our action will be quick, decisive, and far from the calculations of the United States.

By reflecting on Major General Mousavi's words, we will realize that each word he uses carries both semantic and military weight. In fact, changing the military doctrine from defensive to offensive shows that surprise against the enemy will be meaningless.

One of the points considered in the offensive doctrine is increasing the number, range, and destructive power of ballistic missiles, which can deal heavy blows to the enemy; In this regard, according to Western media and officials, after the imposed 12-day war, Iranian missile factories are continuously operating and are increasing the number, range, and destructive power of ballistic missiles.

Reuters news agency has stated in this regard that the production of ballistic missiles has increased in Iranian missile centers after the 12-day war. Some Western experts have also claimed that Iran's arsenal is currently the largest in the West Asian region, with an estimated more than three thousand missiles, including models designed to carry conventional and nuclear warheads.

Iran has the largest ballistic missile arsenal in the West Asian region

Although an exact number cannot be announced regarding the number of Iranian ballistic missiles, and the above statistics regarding the number of ballistic missiles are mostly speculation, Iran may have a much larger number of ballistic missiles, which we will become aware of if we pay attention to the latest statements of the Martyr Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

In this regard, Martyr Major General Hajizadeh had said that if we inaugurate a missile city every week, it would take more than two years to unveil all our missile cities; this means that the missile arsenals and the number of missiles of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are much greater than the Western claims.

The second point regarding the offensive strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the use of missiles and drones with high speed and destructive power to attack targets deep in the region; the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have recently unveiled the powerful Khorramshahr and Sejil missiles, of course, the Sejil missile also landed on the Zionists like lightning during the 12-Day War; but this time these missiles have been upgraded and each shot of these missiles will cause huge damage to the Zionist and American enemy.

Strategy for using powerful Khorramshahr missiles in future battles

Khorramshahr missiles, which are known as a great power on the battlefield, can change the equations of war in favor of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Recently, the Wion website claimed that each Khorramshahr ballistic missile costs eight million dollars, which does not seem to be true; because Iran's military doctrine is designed based on heterogeneous warfare, and heterogeneous warfare means providing the most facilities at the least cost, and this means that the eight million dollar price of the Khorramshahr missile cannot be true; in addition, Iran's military budget, according to a Global report, is about 10 billion dollars, and therefore such costs cannot be imagined for the production of a ballistic missile.

How can we overwhelm the US Navy with an offensive strategy?

Another point that can be seen in the words of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces is the adoption of a heterogeneous military strategy towards the US and its allies in the region. Another component of the heterogeneous defense strategy is to confront the US Navy with the help of asymmetric methods. In other words, given that we know that our enemy is very capable in terms of equipment (especially the US Navy), we can also overwhelm the US Navy by using certain methods.

In this context, one of the extensive capabilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy is the ability to quickly and secretly lay mines in the Persian Gulf, which has been carried out many times in various exercises by the IRGC Navy, and even the mine models have been upgraded in various formats.

Last year, the IRGC Navy demonstrated in a military exercise in the Persian Gulf that it can launch mines into the Persian Gulf through launchers and deploy them in its desired areas, which will result in a significant deterrent against NATO warships and the terrorist CENTCOM complex.

Using powerful anti-ship missiles

Another capability of the IRGC Navy is its possession of ballistic and cruise missiles to confront enemies in asymmetric warfare tactics; this force, with its vast array of anti-ship and anti-submarine missiles, can deal heavy blows to any enemy in the Persian Gulf. Among the anti-ship missiles used by the IRGC Navy, we can mention the "Noor", "Kowsar", "Ghadir", "Ghader", "Fateh", and "Khalij Fars" missiles, which can destroy targets with high accuracy.

The role of patrol craft in Iran’s offensive strategy

One of the main reasons why American ships in the Persian Gulf obey the orders and warnings of the IRGC Navy is the presence of these patrol craft or fast boats. These fast boats can intercept targets at high speed and hit them with force at a speed of about 80 to 100, and sometimes 110 knots. One of the important advantages of patrol craft is that they are very difficult to target due to their small cross-section; for example, sometimes a fast boat is less than 15 meters long, and this makes it very difficult to target it. The fast boats “Zolfaghar”, “Ashura”, and “Heider 110” are among the patrol craft that the IRGC uses to ensure the security of the Persian Gulf.

Let’s assume that a war between Iran and the United States begins tomorrow. On paper, given the massive deployment of American military equipment in the region and the hundreds of fighter jets that the enemy has in its numerous bases in West Asia, the United States may be considered the victor in the war; however, the heterogeneous offensive strategy of war proposed by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and the components of this strategy have enabled Iran to inflict great damage on the American enemy and inflict widespread casualties on him; a situation that will lead to the defeat and retreat of America and will shatter its puppet authority in the eyes of the world.

Brigadier General Kiyomars Heydari, Deputy Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Central Headquarters, while emphasizing Iran’s openness to expanding the conflict and expanding the geography of the battle, has said: “We will never accept that Iran is insecure and the region is secure.” If the Americans endanger Iran's security, there is no doubt that neither the Zionist regime nor other countries supporting the United States will be safe and will ultimately leave the region defeated.

Some CIA officials have also warned the White House officials about the risk of a long-term, eroding, and fruitless conflict; however, Donald Trump, due to his arrogance and narcissism, does not believe much in listening to the words of his advisers and security advisors, and therefore, he may make a miscalculation and take action that will result in unprecedented humiliation and a major defeat for the United States in the West Asian region.
