Russia Calls on US to Release Maduro
The Russian Foreign Ministry has once again called for the release of the kidnapped Venezuelan president by the US.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to RT, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced: "We reiterate Moscow's support for the legitimate authorities of Venezuela in protecting the country's national sovereignty and internal interests."
The ministry added: "We seek to continue multilateral cooperation with our partners. Once again, we call on the US authorities to release the elected and legitimate President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife."
The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized: "We strongly believe that Venezuela's right to self-determination must be supported."
Russia had previously condemned the kidnapping of the legitimate president of Venezuela during the US aggression against the country.
