Admiral Tangsiri Martyred

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The statement of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the occasion of the martyrdom of Admiral Alireza Tangsiri is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The man of God, the fighter in the path of God, and the great hero of the Third Sacred Defense, became the guest of the Master and Commander of the Martyrs after about half a century of tireless fighting.

Martyr Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, who, following heavy blows that led to the destruction of important enemy installations and infrastructures and the downing of an American fighter jet, was organizing and strengthening forces and strengthening the defensive shield of islands and coasts used by the aggressor enemies, joined Allah due to the severity of his injuries.

Our nation has become accustomed to these martyrdoms and knows that the front that did not stop even a little with the passing of the most prominent legends in human history and the greatest divine leaders such as Khomeini and Khamenei, but continued its path with greater strength, will continue its path with greater power with the martyrdom of the field commanders;  As the IRGC Navy fighters have demonstrated in recent days, in the absence of this brave commander, with crushing blows and continued decisive management in the Strait of Hormuz, this reality has been demonstrated. A force that has a track record of disrupting superpower operations in escorting tankers with the most basic weapons and destroying several American warships in the eight-year Sacred Defense, and our people have the honorable memory of capturing American and UK marines and seizing enemy vessels from them, each of its fighters is a Tangsiri, and we will see what surprises they will bring in the days and months ahead.

We congratulate and offer our condolences to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Khamenei, and the entire noble nation of Iran and the zealous warriors of the IRGC and army's naval forces on the martyrdom of this brave and zealous soldier of the homeland, who brought the epics of Rais-Ali Delvari to life. We pledge with the entire Iranian nation, who are creating the greatest epics in history these days and nights, that we will not rest until the enemy is completely destroyed and the honorable Quds is liberated.
