Iranian Armed Forces Defeated the World’s Largest Army
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Today, at a meeting commemorating the Journalist’s Day, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, while honoring the memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the martyrs of Iran’s regional war, stated: “In the recent Imposed War, there were unparalleled scenes of sacrifice and bravery of every child of the country, and men and women did not fail to perform their duties in every field they were responsible for.”
He added: “The authorities did not allow people’s livelihoods and lives to be in trouble, and efforts were also made in the health sector to ensure that the services needed by the people continued without interruption.”
Referring to the performance of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces in Iran’s regional war, Araghchi stated: “Our Armed Forces have defeated the world’s largest apparent army. This is not a slogan at all, but a reality.”
The Iranian Foreign Minister continued: The recent war showed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a tough and invincible power. I have heard this many times from officials from different countries who said that the Iranians surprised the whole world in this war and won both in war and diplomacy.
He said: No one imagined that Iran could resist America in this way, with the support of the Zionist regime and many Western and other countries, and ultimately force the enemy to request negotiations.
Araghchi considered this achievement the result of the sacrifice and resistance of all the Iranian people and added: Meanwhile, the actions and cooperation in the medical field were another important manifestation of this resistance, the scenes of which were seen by all the people.
Referring to the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, he stated: In full coordination with the Ministry of Health, various areas of medical cooperation were pursued; from technology transfer and supply of medicines to the supply of medical equipment and treatment needs.
The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized: "Especially in wartime conditions, meeting the needs of the health sector, medicine and medical equipment, and transporting medical needs were among the difficult tasks that were carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Health so that there would be no shortage or shortage in this area."
Araghchi also considered the national solidarity of Iranians inside and outside the country to be another important manifestation of the recent war, saying: "This solidarity was not only inside the country, and Iranians abroad also showed their support and solidarity during and after the war."
He added: "During the war and after the war, significant donations were collected from Iranians, Shiites, Muslims, and those interested in the Islamic Revolution. We only announced account numbers or centers to receive cash and non-cash donations, and the people themselves come to the field to help."
The Iranian Foreign Minister continued: "Various equipment was also sent by Iranians abroad and those interested in Iran and the Islamic Revolution, and we transferred this aid to the country to be used in the needed sectors."
Araghchi stated that efforts have been made to direct the collected donations towards specific projects, and said: "I suggested that a specific hospital that has suffered more damage and destruction be introduced as a specific project abroad and that we ask Iranians and interested parties to allocate their donations for the reconstruction of this hospital." He noted: "These measures showed that the national cohesion and solidarity of Iranians inside and outside the country have taken a serious and significant form during the recent war."
