Warriors of Islam Brought the Most Armed Army in World History to Its Knees
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Ahmad Vahidi, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, on the occasion of the arrival of the month of Rabi Al-Awwal, expressed gratitude in a heartfelt note addressed to the warriors of Islam for six months of fighting, emphasizing: By relying on Almighty God and through victorious combat under extremely harsh conditions, the scorching heat and heavy humidity of the southern islands and coasts, and the cold of the soaring northern border heights, and successful offensive and defensive operations under heavy fire, you brought the most armed army in world history to its knees.
This heartfelt note is as follows:
Brave and honorable warriors of Islamic Iran,
Zealous IRGC Forces, courageous Army soldiers, hardworking Law Enforcement personnel, brave Basijis and tribesmen, and the Ministry of Intelligence forces.
Pen and tongue are incapable of expressing the station and appreciation of your brilliant fighting, for God Himself has granted virtue to the warriors of Islam over others and revealed His love in the Quran, saying: "Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a solid structure."
The glory and grandeur you displayed through six months of unparalleled fighting against the most bloodthirsty enemies of humanity have dazzled the eyes of the world and revived the hope of final victory over the oppressors in the hearts of the oppressed.
By relying on Almighty God and through victorious combat under extremely harsh conditions, the scorching heat and heavy humidity of the southern islands and coasts, the cold of the soaring northern border heights, and successful offensive and defensive operations under heavy fire, you brought the most armed army in world history to its knees.
By seeking recourse in the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and creating the most beautiful manifestations of self-sacrifice, you repeated the brilliant epics of the eight years of Sacred Defense in new forms and revived the memory of the historical battles of Badr and Khaybar alongside the Grand Prophet.
Under the wise command of His Eminence Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and through the divine grace and innovative management of the battlefield, you opened the gates of uprising to the oppressed of the world and proved, by imposing your will on the enemy, that Islam can rule the world.
By the grace of God upon the risen nation that did not leave the scene even for a single day, and with the prayers of Imam Mahdi, God willing, soon, by bringing an end to the pain and suffering of the oppressed and resistant people of the region, especially dear Palestine and Lebanon, the world will be more prepared than ever for the rising of the great sun of Wilayah.
I seize this opportunity to congratulate you and the self-sacrificing families who raised such brave men and sent them to the battlefield on the arrival of the blessed month of Rabi' Al-Awwal. I pray for the highest divine reward for you, and I ask for prayers from all of you righteous.
