US Air Raids Take More Civilian Toll in Eastern Syria
TEHRAN (defapress)- Local sources in Eastern Syria reported on Monday that almost 50 civilians were killed in a fresh round of US-led coalition airstrikes in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
The sources said that the warplanes carried out heavy bombardments on the village of al-Bahara in Eastern Deir Ezzur, killing 38 civilians, including 20 women and 7 children.
They added that the fighter jets also pounded a medical center in the village, killing 11 civilians and injuring 7 more.
The sources in Southeastern Deir Ezzur had also reported on Wednesday that a number of civilians were killed or wounded in the US-led collation airstrikes.
The sources said that the US fighter jets conducted heavy bombardment on the village of al-Bahara in Eastern Deir Ezzur, killing three civilians and wounding several more.
Field reports said that some of the injured are in critical condition.
