Rocket attack rocks Bagram Airfield

Kabul - (Defapress)_There is contradictory news regarding the number of possible casualties and damages.

Zabihollah Mojahed, the so-called spokesmen of Taliban terrorist group wrote in his Twitter account that the group inflicted heavy damages on the foreign forces in the airfield.

Some Afghan sources rejected the claims, saying that the rockets were intercepted and the accident had no casualties or damages to properties.

Governor of Bagram Seifollah Bidar also in a phone call with the local media confirmed the rocket attack, saying that they were intercepted.

According to the Afghan media, Taliban has targeted Bagram airfield for the third time since last week.
Bagram Airfield also known as Bagram Air Base is the largest US military base in Afghanistan. 

It is located next to the ancient city of Bagram, 11 kilometers southeast of Charikar in the Parwan Province of the country.
