He was talking to the Consul General of Iran in Peshawar, Muhammad Baqir Beigi, who called on him at his office to discuss matters of mutual interest.
He said Iran and Pakistan have common culture, religion, and roots adding that Iranian investors must invest their money in his province which is committed to provide business-friendly environment.
Shah Farman was of the view that Iran and Pakistan can play a constructive role in uniting the Muslim Ummah.
He also condoled with the Iranian people and government over Ahvaz terrorist attack which claimed the lives of dozens of people.
The Iranian envoy congratulated Shah Farman on assuming the charge of Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and his party’s victory in the general elections.
He added that ties between Iran and Pakistan would further grow in all areas.
Muhammad Baqir Beigi expressing his views said Iran is ready to participate in infrastructure projects of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province including road and dam construction.
He also called for removal of all barriers in resumption of banking ties between the two friendly neighboring states.
