Islamic Republic has not been involved in an act of terror, Mojtaba Zonnour, a member of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said on Thursday.
The MP criticized Netherland for being a safe haven for terrorist elements.
He called on the European Union (EU) to prevent its member states becoming a safe haven for terrorist elements.
Continuation of such approach can damage close relations between Iran and the EU, Zonnour noted.
The EU has imposed new sanctions against an Iranian entity and two individuals. EU sanctions followed Netherland accusations which claim Iran's involvement in killing two Dutch citizens.
'Europeans, incl Denmark, Holland & France, harbor MEK—who killed 12000 Iranians & abetted Saddam's crimes against Iraqi Kurds—as well as other terrorists staging murder of innocent Iranians from Europe. Accusing Iran won't absolve Europe of responsibility for harboring terrorists,' Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said in a message released in his twitter account.
