The Zionist regime is bombing Lebanon with the permission of the US

TEHRAN (Defapress) - An expert of West Asia, Hasan Hanizadeh, in an exclusive interview with Defapress, referring to the crimes of the Zionist regime in Lebanon, said: Zionist criminals, in a crazy act, carry out the most severe air attacks against the innocent and oppressed people of southern Lebanon, during which hundreds of people were martyred and thousands of people were injured and some of them have left their homes and moved to other parts of Lebanon.

Stating that the Zionist regime is trying to turn Beirut into a second Gaza, Hanizadeh emphasized: Unfortunately, the international community has remained silent regarding the crimes of the Zionists and none of the extra-regional institutions and powers are willing to end the conflicts. Therefore, the Zionist regime continues its crimes in Lebanon and Palestine with the permission of America.

The expert in West Asia issues added that Lebanon's Hezbollah also launched the most intense missile attacks against the Zionist regime's facilities in the past few days, and the clashes are still ongoing. There is a possibility that Zionist criminals will launch more operations against the Lebanese people and Hezbollah leaders in the coming days, but the resistance axis is ready to respond decisively.

He stated that the Zionist regime would definitely fail in a ground attack due to the complete nobility of Lebanon's Hezbollah in the southern region and geography of this country.

Hanizadeh continued about the strategic importance of the Litani River and said: According to Resolution 1701 in 2006, Hezbollah is supposed to move away from the parts and bed of the Litani River and the Lebanese Army will be stationed there. The Zionist regime's attack on Litani to dominate it and divert the water of this river towards the occupied territories will face a sharp reaction from the Lebanese government and Hezbollah. 

He stated that the Zionist regime wants to deprive the Lebanese nation of water resources by occupying the southern bed of the Litani river, and noted that this is a national issue and everyone agrees that the Zionist regime should withdraw from the Litani river. Hezbollah and the Lebanese government are in concert against the Zionist regime and will not allow the Zionist regime to dominate the Litani River.
