TEHRAN (Defapress) - Khaled Mashal, head of Hamas, said on the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa storm operation: Israel was defeated in Gaza within a whole year and Hamas won. The war destroyed the image of the Zionist regime in the world.

Al-Aqsa storm promises the decline of the occupying regime in the near future

Meshal added: The Battle of Al-Aqsa Storm is a new stage in the conflict with Israel. Al-Aqsa storm returned the occupying regime to the zero point and is a black point in the history of the Zionist regime and a harbinger of its decline in the near future.

Referring to the resistance axis' support of the Palestinian resistance and the Palestinian nation, Meshaal said: we are grateful for our brothers in Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, and Iraq, who sacrificed their lives for us, and a caravan of martyrs, including their leaders, headed by Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah. He also said that Israel opened the Lebanese front after failing to achieve its goals in Gaza.

Khalid Mashal, while praising the role of the head of Hamas in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, demanded the opening of new fronts against the Zionist regime, including the opening of a front in the West Bank.

Mashaal, while pointing out that the Zionist regime is conspiring against Jordan and Egypt, called for the unification of the "resistance fronts".

He asked the people of Gaza not to despair because victory is on the way.
