Details of the 60-day ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist regime

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon, Elias Abu Sa'ab, on Monday outlined details of a possible ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli regime.

In an interview with Reuters, he said there were no serious obstacles to the implementation of the 60-day ceasefire proposed by the United States to end the conflict between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah.

Abu Sa'ab added: "Within 60 days, Israeli army forces have withdrawn from southern Lebanon to give the Lebanese army time to deploy in these areas."

He said: "One of the points of disagreement was about the countries that would monitor the implementation of the ceasefire, which was resolved in the past 24 hours, and France will be among the countries that will be under the presidency of the United States and will monitor the ceasefire process."
