Urge the Zionist regime to end hostilities today

Borrell stated that we must urge Israel to endorse a ceasefire today.

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The European Union's foreign policy chief has called for international pressure on Israel to agree to a ceasefire with Hezbollah to halt the ongoing violence in Lebanon. 

Urge the Zionist regime to end hostilities today

Borrell stated that Israel should not reject the proposed agreement, which offers comprehensive security assurances. 

"Beirut is subjected to intense bombing every night," Borrell remarked during a press briefing. "We must exert pressure on Israel to endorse the proposal today... It is time to begin contemplating peace."
