TEHRAN (Defapress) - Abbas Al Hajj Hassan, the Minister of Agriculture in Lebanon, has stated that Israel persists in its assaults on southern Lebanon, despite having reached a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah the previous month.
He reported that the most recent incident involved the destruction of citrus orchards in the southern town of Naqoura, which is located near the headquarters of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the region.
In a post on X, he remarked, "This act represents a breach of our sovereignty and poses a significant threat to our food security, endangering the nation's resources, sovereignty, and the livelihoods of our farmers."
