TEHRAN (Defapress) - The international correspondent of Defapress, Seyed Hadi Seyed Afghahi, an international affairs expert, referred to the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a meeting with the eulogists of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) that the Zionists think they have won in Gaza, stated: The Zionists call the destruction, siege, starvation, and martyrdom of the people of Gaza a victory; while in military practice, these cases are not called victories.
He said: The Zionist regime and its supporters, using aircraft carriers, F-35 fighters, artillery, multi-ton bombs, Delta Force forces, and artificial intelligence, have not yet been able to defeat Hamas and Islamic Jihad for more than a year.
Sayedafiqhi continued that Israel is unable to disarm the Palestinian groups, adding that Palestinian groups in Gaza continue to fire at Israeli forces and blow up houses where Israeli soldiers are taking refuge.
In another part of his speech, he referred to the explosion of pagers in Lebanon to hit Hezbollah and reminded: After the martyrdom of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah fired 400 missiles at Tel Aviv in one night, forcing 4 million Zionists to flee to shelters.
Referring to the false claim of the Zionists that they said: "We destroyed 85 percent of Hezbollah's power," Seyed Afeghi stated: After this claim, Hezbollah in Lebanon targeted not only Haifa, but also Nahariya, Acre, Safad, and Tel Aviv with its missiles.
He said: Although Netanyahu pretends that he has the upper hand and can leave southern Lebanon at any time, we must say that the Zionist regime was defeated in both Gaza and Syria.
In another part of his speech, this expert on international affairs said that unfortunately, some people inside and outside the country think that the Islamic Republic of Iran has become weak; while Supreme leader addressed them and said, “The Iranian nation will trample under its firm feet anyone who accepts America’s mercenary service in this regard.”
Regarding the issue of “proxy war,” Seyed Afghahi noted: The term “proxy war” was embedded in the dictionary of our media culture by Western media, and we also unconsciously and carelessly use the term “proxy war” in this field. Which “proxy war”? We fight for our own interests and enter the field of action whenever we want.
In the end, he pointed out the potential for the formation of Resistance groups in Syria and said: "The possibility of the formation of resistance cells in Syria is really high. With the knowledge we have of the Syrian nation and society, God willing, the resistance cell will be formed and the conditions and situation in Syria will not remain like this."
