We Don't Accept Humiliation Against Israel

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Citing Al-Mayadeen, Gebran Bassil, the head of the Christian party of the Free National Movement of Lebanon, stressed that the Shebaa Heights are an occupied area and belong to Lebanon.

He said: Israel must adhere to the ceasefire agreement and resolution 1701. Is it right that the sovereignty of Lebanon is undermined and Israel continues its aggression?

Bassil said: We must defend the sovereignty of Lebanon. We do not want to enter into war again, but we do not accept humiliation and aggression against the sovereignty of our country.

He added: We wish peace and freedom for Syria and hope that the developments in this country will have a positive impact on Lebanon.

Bassil stated: We should not offer gifts to the new regime in Syria, but we have to achieve our rights.
