TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Zionist media have examined the dimensions and details of Iran's recently unveiled defense achievements.
The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, in a report, acknowledged the significant progress in Iran's defense industry and the production of various military equipment, including drones, air defense systems, and ballistic missiles. The report highlighted the unveiling of the "Etemad" missile in the presence of the Iranian president.
Israel Hayom cited Iranian state media, stating that the Etemad missile has a maximum range of 1,700 kilometers—a distance that places Israel within its reach.
In another article, Israel Hayom quoted another newspaper claiming that Iran is developing missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads with a range of 3,000 kilometers. However, the report later admitted that these systems are intended for satellite launches, describing them as satellite carriers rather than military missiles.
The newspaper Maariv published an article focusing on the unveiling of the new missile with a range of 1,700 kilometers. However, it chose the revelation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) new missile city as the centerpiece of its report. Despite the presence of Admiral Tangsiri, commander of the IRGC Navy, and references to the naval force in the published footage, Maariv emphasized the threat posed to Israel by the Etemad missile's 1,700-kilometer range.
The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth chose a strikingly provocative headline for its article. Aiming to stoke fear of Iran, it titled its piece "Iran's Nuclear Missiles Reach Europe." Although the article discusses Iran's achievements in satellite launches and cites Hassan Salarieh, head of the Iranian Space Agency, regarding satellite launches, it includes unrelated images of a rocket launcher and an anti-aircraft gun from an IRGC exercise in the Persian Gulf, seemingly attempting to mislead its audience.
Despite Israeli media's efforts to distort public perception of Iran's defense programs, they were compelled to report statements from the Iranian president and IRGC commanders, emphasizing that the unveiling of these achievements is intended to send a message of deterrence to Iran's enemies.
