TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, Maariv revealed on Monday that 16,000 Zionist soldiers have been wounded in the Gaza Strip after 500 days of war.
Citing the Rehabilitation Administration affiliated with the Zionist regime's army, Maariv reported that 8,600 of the wounded have suffered physical injuries, while another 7,500 have experienced severe psychological trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
According to these statistics, women make up 7% of the wounded, while men account for 93%. The rehabilitation department's report also states that since the start of the war, 846 police officers of the regime who participated in the war have been killed.
Additionally, recent reports citing officials from the regime indicate that the number of military casualties in the Zionist army during the war is likely to reach around 6,000. The distribution of data based on the type of forces shows that 66% of the wounded are from reserve forces, 17% are active-duty soldiers, and 10% are police officers of the regime.
The newspaper also warned, citing a Zionist inspector's report published last week, that the regime is facing a major crisis. It is estimated that approximately 3 million Zionists are suffering from symptoms of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of the war.
Maariv explained that according to the latest data, there is a grim picture of the casualties and heavy costs borne by the army, reserve soldiers, and security forces of the regime.
Furthermore, according to previous statistics published in October 2024, after the aggression on the Gaza Strip and later Lebanon, 12,000 Zionist soldiers were treated in hospitals and psychiatric clinics.
