Europe Seeks Engagement with Iran

TEHRAN (Defapress) - "Our goal remains to try to find a diplomatic solution to Iran's nuclear program," these are part of the statement from the German Foreign Ministry, which recently issued a statement on Iran's nuclear program, along with France and the United Kingdom.

The European Troika, in a statement last week, expressed concern about nuclear activities and claimed that "in light of the threat posed by Iran's nuclear program, the European Troika continues to work towards a diplomatic solution and is ready to use all diplomatic levers to achieve this goal."

The American newspaper Washington Post reported in a report quoting the German Foreign Ministry that "the Europeans will continue to engage with Iran."

The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly emphasized that its nuclear program is peaceful and that its nuclear activities have been conducted with detailed information to the International Atomic Energy Agency and are under its continuous supervision.
