Smotrich’s Arrogant Remarks Are a Blatant Admission of Genocide

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Last night, the Palestinian Hamas movement issued a statement in response to the arrogant remarks of Bezalel Smotrich, the fascist minister of the occupying regime, concerning the total annihilation of Gaza. The statement declared that the words of Smotrich, the Zionist terrorist minister, who emphasized the fascist Zionist cabinet’s efforts to destroy what remains of the Gaza Strip and forcibly displace its residents through massacres and brutal attacks, constitute an explicit and blatant admission of the regime’s comprehensive genocidal crimes against civilians.

Hamas added that such brazen and public statements must be immediately legally pursued and placed on the agenda of international justice institutions, particularly the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) so that necessary legal measures can be taken to promptly document them.

The movement further stressed that immediate investigations must be conducted into these criminal Zionist policies, and those responsible, particularly the fascist Zionist leaders at the helm, must be punished, ensuring they do not escape accountability.

This statement came after Smotrich, in an interview with the Zionist regime’s army radio last night, stated: "Israel will raze all of Gaza to the ground, just as it did with Rafah in the south."

The fascist Zionist minister declared: "We leveled Rafah, and now it’s time for the entire Gaza Strip to meet the same fate, we will flatten this area. We will demolish every house in the Gaza Strip because we consider each one to be a tunnel."
