Over 800 UK Legal Experts Demand Government Action on Gaza War

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, more than 800 British legal professionals, including 11 former judges, prominent lawyers, and legal scholars, have signed an open letter urging the UK government to take "concrete actions" in response to Israel’s war on Gaza.

Among the demands, the letter calls for financial and immigration sanctions against Israeli officials and military personnel "reasonably suspected of involvement in unlawful conduct."

It also presses the government to review trade relations with Israel and reaffirm its commitment to enforcing International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrants concerning the occupied Palestinian territories.
