US Veto Is Washington's Support for Tel Aviv's Genocide in Gaza

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to RT Arabic, Amnesty International, in response to the US's repeated veto of a resolution to stop the war in Gaza, stated: "It is morally repugnant that the US, instead of using its influence to stop the tragedies in Gaza, has once again abused its veto to advance Israel's genocide in Gaza."

The organization added: "The consequences of this veto are particularly devastating for Palestinians in Gaza City, where Israel has launched an unprecedented genocidal campaign and violently displaced hundreds of thousands of residents into unsafe and uninhabitable areas."

Amnesty International stressed: “The ongoing Israeli attacks are rapidly destroying the ancient city of Gaza and its Palestinian heritage and identity.”

The organization’s statement said: “The US government has shown a deadly disregard for the survival of the Palestinian people in Gaza. History will never forgive the US for standing alone in the face of the international community and encouraging Israel to continue its genocide.”
