TEHRAN (Defapress) - Roger Waters, the prominent British musician and founder of the Pink Floyd group, attended a large gathering held in New York on the occasion of the anniversary of the UN General Assembly vote on the Zionist regime's withdrawal from the occupied territories in Gaza and the call for effective action by supporting countries.
At this event, Waters, while calling for an arms embargo on Israel, described the regime's behavior in Gaza as "criminally insane," and considered it a clear example of "genocide."
"It is not just the Israelis who are responsible for this crime, but the governments of the UK, the US, France, and Germany, who continue to send weapons to Israel, are also complicit in this tragedy," he told RT.
Stressing the urgency of the matter, Waters added: "We must free Palestine, the country, from the river to the sea, and we have to do it now. It will be too late."
