TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Masirah, the International Committee to Break the Gaza Siege reported that a new wave of ships is continuing to move towards the Strip, and announced that these ships are 294 nautical miles, equivalent to 545 kilometers, from the Gaza Strip.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition announced on Friday that 11 ships are continuing their journey from Italy to the Gaza Strip to break the siege on the Strip.
A statement issued by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition stated that the ships in question are continuing their journey after the illegal Israeli attack on the Sumud Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
According to the statement, the 11 ships of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition are carrying 100 passengers, including a large number of journalists and relief workers.
The names of some of these ships include Abdul Karim Eid, Al-Oudah, Alaa Al-Najjar, Anas Al-Sharif, Al-Damir, and Ghassan Kanafani.
Last Wednesday night, the Israeli military seized 42 ships belonging to the Sumud Flotilla while they were sailing in international waters towards Gaza, and arrested hundreds of international activists who were on board.
